Galactic Conquest Mod Released

The team at Galactic Conquest rekeased the first public beta of their Battlefield 1942 modification this morning at 8am GMT. The Galactic Conquest beta, which is based on the Star Wars universe and is an objective oriented mod, includes all new weapons, sounds, models and also their first map gc_hoth, in the initial release. 2 other maps are planned to be included within the next few releases (Tatooine and The Forests Of Endor), and there are the possibility of another 3 in future development. Features to be included in the initial beta release are:

• Incom T47 Air Speeder (Snowspeeder)
• YT-1300 Corellian Freighter (Millenium Falcon)
• Seiner Fleet Systems TIE bomber
• All terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST)
• E-web Deployable repeater
• Original Weapon, Radio, Vehicle and player sounds
• Complete new HUD to fit the Star Wars theme
